ISLAMABAD (April 24, 2010): President Asif Ali Zardari inaugurated a project to provide Broadband Internet in Southern Punjab funded by Universal Service Fund (Ministry of IT). According to a handout issued here on Friday, the project was originally launched by President Zardari on January 20, 2010 and within a short span of a few months, more than 25,000 broadband connections have already been provided in 32 cities.
