Diana, Princess of Wales (1 July 1961 – 31 August 1997) was the first wife of Charles, Prince of Wales. Their sons, Princes William and Henry, are second and third in line to the thrones of the United Kingdom and fifteen other Commonwealth Realms.
Diana was the youngest daughter of John Spencer and Frances. She was born at Park House, Sandringham in Norfolk, England on 1 July 1961 at 6.45 in the evening and was baptised on August 30, 1961 at St. Mary Magdalene Church by the Rt. Rev. Percy.

Her grave is on an island in an ornamental lake (The Round Oval) in Althorp Park. Thirty-six oak trees, symbolizing each year of her life, lead to the lake. 4 black swans swim in the lake, symbolically guarding the island.
