Lincoln was elected president in 1860 and kennedy was elected in 1960, exactly 100 years later.

Licoln was blessed with two sons ,Edward and Robert.Edward died when he was three years old .Kennedy too had two sons named Robert and Edward of which Robert died but Edward survived.
