دی نیوز “نیوز پوسٹ“ سے اقتباس[align=left:f7046bf1a0]Massacre at Panipat
The muted response of some of our political elite, to the outrageous massacre of over 70 innocent Muslims on board Samjhota Express is mind-boggling. What is the reason behind the silence of vociferous men like Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Altaf Hussain, Farooq Sattar and other nationalist leaders? Does not the murder of poor people travelling in a third class bogey, stir their emotions, or will they brush it aside as if this was their destined fate? Even the government's spokespersons are apologetic, more mindful not to annoy India, than caring for the sentiments of their own population. There is no doubt that we must have cordial relations with all our neighbouring countries but not at the cost of compromising the welfare of a single Pakistani.
