سعودی حکومت نے مورخہ ۴ اپریل کو مندرجہ ذیل Initiatives لیے تھے :
Summary on the Initiatives of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and the Ministry of Commerce
- Initiative 1: One third of the salaries of Saudi nationals in the affected private sector to be paid from SANED Program (Unemployment Insurance of the General Organization for Social Insurance “GOSI”) to avoid the dismissals and to avoid extra burden in dismissals case.
Period: 3 months – starting 1st April 2020 until 30th June 2020. Beneficiaries: all private sector.
- Initiative 2: Transfer all annual SADAD payments to quarterly SADAD payments because of
the crisis business experiences a cash flow crisis and can’t make full advance payment.
Period: starting 1st March for example. Beneficiaries: all companies.
- Initiative 3: Expat levy exemption for 3 months by extending their Iqama for a period of 3 months without charge and for those who renewed their Iqama before 25/7/1441H corresponding to 19/3/2020G.
Period: starting 1st of March for example. Beneficiaries: all private sector
- Initiative 4: Expat accompanying family members levy exemption for 6 months to encourage the purchasing power and reduce the burden on expats.
Period: starting 1st March 2020 for example. Beneficiaries: all dependents of expatriate
- Initiative 5: Extension of settlement dates of all penalties for 6 months with the easy installments option.
Period: starting 1st March 2020 for example. Beneficiaries: all commercial activities
- Initiative 6: Postponing rent payments for 6 months for properties owned by the state.
Period: starting 1st March 2020 for example.
Beneficiaries: all companies banned from doing their activity.
- Initiative 7: Postponing rent payments for 6 months for properties owned by private sector.
Period: starting 1st March 2020 for example.
Beneficiaries: all companies banned from doing their activity.
- Initiative 8: 6 months extension to settle electricity bills with the easy installments option.
Period: starting 1st March 2020 for example.
Beneficiaries: commercial sectors excluding financials, telecom, petrol, petrochemistry sectors.

- Initiative 9: Reducing electricity bills by 50% over 6 months due to the decline in revenues.
Period: 6 months starting 1st March 2020 for example.
Beneficiaries: commercial sectors excluding financials, telecom, petrol, petrochemistry sectors.
- Initiative 10: Direction not to apply all penalties because of delays in the execution of governmental contracts.
Period: 3 months - starting 1st March 2020 for example. Beneficiaries: all commercial sectors.
- Initiative 11: Postponing the payment of some government services fees (i.e. CR, Municipality Licenses, Trademarks, work permit, etc.).
Period: 3 months – starting 1st March 2020 until 30th June 2020.
Beneficiaries: all commercial sectors.
- Initiative 12: Postponing the payment of the subscription fee for GOSI for small to medium businesses.
Period: 3 months – starting 1st March 2020 until 30th June 2020. Beneficiaries: all commercial sectors.
- Initiative 13: Amending the condition of the start date of the business in Esterdad initiative of Monsha’at to be 1/1/2014 instead of 1/1/2016.
Period: 6 months – starting 1st March 2020 until 30th September 2020.
Beneficiaries: all new startups in strategic sectors and impacted businesses that are less than 5 years old.
- Initiative 14: Reducing the requirements and expanding the circle of the beneficiaries from the "Kafala Program services support" to comprise large businesses.
Period: ongoing – starting March 2020.
Beneficiaries: companies whose sales range from SAR 200 million to SAR 500 million.
- Initiative 15: Urgent approval of the Ministerial Committee to motivate the private sector increasing the capital of the indirect loaning initiative by SAR 4.4 billion.
Period: ongoing - starting March 2020 Beneficiaries: small and medium businesses. Number of beneficiaries: 6400 companies. Numbers of beneficiary employees: 320,000
- Initiative 16: Supporting expats salaries by 10% to 15% of the salaries for specific sectors, to ease the financial burden on companies and motivate businesses to continue and not shut down.
Period: 3 months – starting 1st March 2020 until 30th June 2020. Number of beneficiaries: 300,000 companies.
Numbers of beneficiary employees: 2,000,000
